The Fish Creek area of town is most commonly described as “between downtown and the mountain.” Beginning around Anglers Drive and continuing west to Fish Creek Falls Road, this area offers a mix of condominiums, townhomes, duplexes and single family homes. There are options for first time homebuyers, as well as luxury multi-million dollar estates. The proximity to both downtown and the ski area is ideal, while still offering the feel of a residential community and the convenience of a new bus route through the area. Steamboat Springs High School sits on the western edge of the Fish Creek area, bordering downtown Steamboat Springs. Spring Creek Trail, Rita Valentine Park and Fish Creek Falls are some of the more popular spots for recreation in this area. Since this area includes many neighborhoods that sit high above the valley floor, many of the properties offer spectacular views to Howelsen Hill, downtown and across the South Valley.
