ELK RIVER/NORTH ROUTT: Listing Report

The Elk River Valley and North Routt area begin at the intersection of Highway 40 on the western edge of city limits and County Road 129, also known as Elk River Road. The “Elk River Area” includes the properties along the CR 129 corridor, running along or near the Elk River. This is a beautiful area consisting of mostly single family homes on larger acreages. There are some smaller subdivisions, rural properties, working ranches and guest ranches, most on larger acreage parcels. The “Elk River Area” extends up CR 129 until you get to the small community of Clark, Colorado. Once you pass Clark, you enter into the “North Routt” area, which offers a pristine alpine setting in the mountains. This area offers incredible recreation, including the beautiful Pearl Lake and Steamboat Lake State Parks, Hahn’s Peak, and Sand Mountain for boating, fishing, hiking and hunting. If you like to be close to Steamboat but also have the feeling of privacy and seclusion, North Routt may be the spot for you!
